If you're looking to spice up your love life a little bit, think about trying out some gift exchange games. Below we suggest a few ideas you could try out and how your local florist has everything you need to make this possible.

Why try gift exchange games?

If you find that marriage or your relationship has begun to take on a bit of dullness or dreariness, it may be time to consider livening things up. There are many good ways you can do this. A vacation is one, expensive jewellery is another, even marriage counseling might work. But one of the best is possibly also the most successful and affordable.

We recommend trying something simple like gift exchange games. Not only is this something you can start right away, but it won't break the bank to do. Flowers make a great choice for this, which is where the florist steps in. Below we've outlined two different gift exchange games that you may wish to consider trying. Of course, you can always create your own, but starting off with an existing example may be best.

If you're interested in additional suggestions, contacting a local florist would be a good idea. You can ask them for assistance and they'll be able to use their years of experience to suggest something for you to try out. Read on to learn about two existing ideas you can try that will help to improve your love life.

Games for gift exchange - part 1

The first of our gift exchange games is detailed here. Not only is it fun to play, but it's something that you can enjoy from the privacy of your own house. A simple name for this simple game is "Color Match-up." The Color Match-up game is played as follows:

The first step is for one partner (you) to initiate the game by picking out a single flower or bouquet in a certain color. After making your choice you bring home the flowers and present them to your partner. His or her part in this is to then return the favor the next month, matching your color if possible with a different variety of flower. If you can't find a matching color or you've done two or three in the same one, start over with a new one.

For example, after deciding to play this game you could bring home a dozen red roses. Your partner would then try to find something else that's red for next month. Perhaps red carnations or tulips would do the trick. It's a simple game, but one that brings a little fun back to the relationship. The second of our ideas for gift exchange games is next.

Games for gift exchange - part 2

The second of our gift exchange games is as follows. "Letter Match" involves you and your partner selecting a new letter each month. The other party then must go out with that letter and find a species of flower matching it. For example, if you select "R" the other person would then have to go out and look for a flower starting with "R." They could choose roses, perhaps, or a rhododendron. For "L" it could be lilies or lilac. To make the game more interesting, once you have chosen one type of flower you can make it so that you can't buy that one again in the future.

Either of these gift exchange games makes for a fun time and just might be what you're looking for to spice up your relationship. For further suggestions you can visit a florist's website or give them a call. You can also stop by their store and they'll be happy to make suggestions about how beautiful flowers and other arrangements can be used in a fun game. They're always happy to use their experience and expertise to help you out, so don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!
