I heard that the flowers and vase were beautiful. Since I was not able to be there for the funeral myself, it was particularly important to me that the flower arrangement was able to reflect my feelings. Ordering online is always a risk, as the consumer is unable to see the final product for themselves prior to delivery. I am happy that I have been able to depend on you. I have used your services in the past and heard great things from the recipient. I will definitely continue to rely on you in the future.

A Big Thank You for making our friends so happy with their Gift Basket. They said they had never received anything like it before, it made them cry with joy. The Basket was stuffed with all sorts of fruit and goodies - they couldn't believe it. Although I am aware that it is not your actual store that puts the 'arrangement' together because the delivery address is just too far away... I know very well firsthand that Brant Florist is one of the best! Every Christmas season my sister-in-law gifts us a beautiful holiday arrangement to grace our home from Brant Florist. Over the years they have taken many forms, some with ornaments, pics and beautiful containers; which I re-use every year. This year we were especially delighted as our arrangement arrived a week before the holidays and outlasted the entire two weeks right through and after New Year's. The greenery was fresh and the flowers bright. This arrangement not only adorned our table, but gave us many hours of enjoyment while adding to the Christmas décor in our home. I am not complaining at all about the value of money that your company charged ( I even dare to choose the best option). For me quality in number 1 and of course on time delivery will be expected as well. I know its not easy to arrange everything, therefore, I used your service (this is the 2nd time) because I know you can handle it well and will not dissapoint me. Though the delivery time beyond my expected time, I must admit that when I called to your company to make sure that the flower had to arrive before 2 pm, the florist could make it before 2pm. Therefore, I am please that the lady received before she left the house. And I am please with your flower arrangement. You can expect me to shop at your company at least twice a year for The U.S delivery.

I do not do this often but I had to tell you how wonderful your flowers were! I have not even seen them but my friend told me they were unbelievable!!!!
I hope she remembers to take a picture, as my order was a little different, to say the least!

She said the note I sent along with it (it was pretty long) was beautifully typed, and the whole thing was amazing. It was for her husband , who is recovering from a triple bypass. She told me he was smiling from ear to ear, and he loved it.

I want you to know that your bouquet was perfect in brightening the day of my girlfriend, and that I thank you very much for making that happen! I had actually been undecided whether to order pink or yellow roses since our relationship is but several weeks old and I'd not sent flowers previously. I understand the bouquet turned out to include both pink and yellow roses. It was tied with a butterfly tie...which ironically happens to be something of a symbol for her in her life. All in all, your bouquet couldn't have been more appreciated by both of us. Thank you too for being able to deliver the bouquet during her work hours at the school.

I haven't used Brant Florist since I was a young child (many...many...years ago!!) and wanted flowers delivered for my mothers birthday. So easy to use, and with the peace of mind that there are "real" people behind it. I placed my order late Wednesday night, and Ted called me first thing the next morning to confirm some french characters that hadn't gone through properly. The public is slowly getting smart enough to look deeper into Google searches and those clearing houses that just distribute orders to local shops will always have deep pockets. You'll just hit you bottom line hard trying to beat them at their own game.

Keep the faith - do what you're already doing well. The public will get smarter - it will just take time.

Besides you were an easy pick for me. My folks only live a couple of blocks off Brant Street and my girl friend, who was born in Burlington, is Maria.

You are one of the few who know about paid links that make Google hugely rich with ads that suck folks into sites where they should never place an order for flowers.

(Google now have several billion dollars in cash and it all comes from those ads)

Please spread the word!

This is huge issue for local firms. What you may not know is that those US sites would just take your money and send the order to us to be delivered. Most of them are not REAL florists. Some are also bad because they skim orders. And of course we would have to pay them a rather large commission. Great for them! Bad for you and us!

Most folk seem to fail to understand that the flowers have to be delivered by a local flower shop anyways. Why not order directly from them?

But all is fair in business, war and love they say. So we just have to keep fighting and spreading the word.

PS Many have said well why don't you pay for an ad there too? I guess we may have to some day to defend our turf. But those pay per click links are expensive (sold by bidding) and the web sites that are just an office can afford to pay Google because their overhead is very low compared to a real flower shop with an actual physical location with stock, staff, etc.

I used Google looking for "Burlington Ontario Florist" you might be interested to know that two paid links came up at the top of the Google results that looked like they might be in Burlington but were in USD! I ditch those looked down further for a florist that actually was in Burlington.

If possible it might be best to deliver the flowers in the morning. I didn't think of this when I entered the order.

Hi, thanks for your informative response. I emailed my son again and told him the flower arrangement didn't look as large as I expected and he said it was very large around 3, 1/2 feet tall, so the picture was not accurate as to size and he was very pleased with it....thank you again.
